You can vote in this election if:
- you have been awarded (in person or in absence) a qualifying degree (see also Degrees conferred under Statute B II 2) from the University of Cambridge at a degree ceremony, AND/OR
- you are on the current Roll of the Regent House, which is published annually at the beginning of November
What to do if your degree hasn't been awarded
Alumni who have completed any qualifying degree must have had it awarded either in person or in absence at a degree ceremony:
- on or before 11 April 2025 and register by 5pm UK time (UTC+1) on 2 May 2025 if they wish to vote online
- on or before 5 July 2025 if they wish to vote in person
Please contact your College by 5pm UK time (UTC+1) on 28 March 2025 if you want to have your degree conferred in time to vote in this election.
Those who have qualifying degrees conferred in March and April will receive an email in April about how to register for online voting.
How to register for online voting
If we do not hold contact information for you or you need to update your details, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Members of the Senate including members of the Regent House received details by email about how to register for online voting in early March. A reminder will be sent in April. If you have not heard from us by mid-April, please email us at Chancellor2025@admin.cam.ac.uk. You will be asked for information to check your identity and eligibility to vote.
The deadline to register for online voting is 2 May 2025.
