Five University of Cambridge museums have been awarded nearly half a million pounds worth of funding for redevelopment by the Museums Libraries and Archives council (MLA) Designated Challenge Fund. The awards have been made through Renaissance in the Regions funding, MLA’s programme to revitalise England’s regional museums using the Designation Challenge Fund that awards funding to museums with collections of national importance.
