The University of Cambridge welcomes comments on its news stories and research articles. Comments appear after going through (and passing) a moderation process.

The following guidelines are designed to help provide a quality environment for all participants. Please take a minute to read them and keep them in mind whenever you participate.

  • Please do not post unauthorised commercial solicitations (including spam); do not bully, intimidate, or harass any user; do not post content that is hateful or threatening; or do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory on the University’s pages.
  • Comments posted to our webpages do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the University of Cambridge.
  • The University of Cambridge reserves the right to not publish comments that contain commercial solicitations, are factually erroneous, libellous or wildly off-topic, or that do not comply with this comments policy for any of the other reasons stated above.
