Andy Martin, Lecturer in the Department of French and author of 'Reacher Said Nothing: Lee Child and the Making of "Make Me"', has been awarded a Norman Mailer Nonfiction Fellowship.

The Norman Mailer Center announces that six writers have been selected for 2016 Fellowships in Fiction and Nonfiction, which will take place from July 8 – 25 at the Ucross Foundation. The 8th annual NMC summer fellowship program is designed to facilitate a balance between a focus on individual work and a forum for discussion among emerging writers. 

The Fiction Fellows are Jenessa Abrams, Cara Diaconoff, and Raghu Karnad, and the Nonfiction Fellows are Andy Martin, Michael Nixon, and Joshua Stupple. Acclaimed writer and editor Greg Curtis will serve as mentor for the group of writers.

The collaboration between the Norman Mailer Center and Ucross Foundation brings together two organisations who share a dedication to the support of contemporary writers of significant promise and achievement. All Fellowships are awarded in a competitive application process administered by The Norman Mailer Center.
