Our thoughts today are with the families of Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones and all those who continue to suffer from the appalling attack at Fishmongers' Hall. We are deeply sorry for the shortcomings identified by the Coroner. Nothing can reverse the events of that day but we are determined that the University, and all in the Learning Together programme, learn appropriate lessons. The University will respond to the Coroner's report in detail in the coming weeks. We have already undertaken significant work to strengthen our processes to ensure that we do everything possible to prevent any repetition of these terrible events.
