Four Cambridge academics have been elected to The Royal Academy of Engineering, joining the very highest achievers in UK engineering and technology.

Founded in 1976, The Royal Academy of Engineering promotes the engineering and technological welfare of the country. It now has 1264 Fellows, 29 Honorary Fellows and 90 International Fellows.

Gathering the very best people together from industry and academia will help us to give the best possible advice to government. Equally importantly, it will help us to inspire young people to see the importance of engineering in today's world and to consider it as a career.”
