An international conference looking at aspects of life and security in Pakistan following 9/11 is taking place in Cambridge this week.

The Conference takes place at Wolfson College on April 21st and 22nd, it opens with an address by Dr Gordon Johnson, President of Wolfson College.

The two day conference covers a wide range of issues concerning Pakistan. Largely it focuses on Pakistan’s national security, foreign policy, economic and political issues at both state and society level.

A session is organized to analyze issues regarding education, media and women in present day Pakistan. Additionally the conference will address issues faced by Pakistanis living both inside and outside UK.

Speakers include notable intellectual, political, media and social figures from Pakistan, USA and the UK.

This conference is for anyone who is interested in either Pakistan, South Asia or 9/11. It is a collaboration between Wolfson College, the Allama Iqbal Fellowship and the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad.
