Teenagers from ethnic minority communities around the UK arrived in Cambridge yesterday (3 August) for a free week-long summer school organised by GEEMA (the Group to Encourage Ethnic Minority Applications to the University of Cambridge).

The summer school is a key part of the programme of events organised by GEEMA to attract more applications from bright students who come from backgrounds with little experience of higher education. The year 11 students are invited to stay in one of the Cambridge Colleges and take part in an array of activities and events to enable them to experience life at the University.
