Relations between Europe and China will come under the spotlight tonight at the second meeting of the student-organised Cambridge – China forum.

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Cambridge (CSSA) and the Cambridge University European Union Society (CUEUS) have joined forces to host three keynote speakers tonight in the Winstanly Lecture Theatre at Trinity College.

Under the banner ‘The Relationship between China and Europe in the New Era’ the speakers are:
• Michael O’Sullivan, CMG, formerly Director of the British Council in Beijing and Secretary General of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, now Director of the Cambridge Trusts
• Sir Christopher Hum, (pictured) former British Ambassador to China and now Master of Gonville and Caius College
• Stanley Crossick, Senior Advisor on China to the European Centre for Asian Studies and Senior Fellow at the Brussels Institute of Contemporary China Studies

The Cambridge-China Forum series is an endeavour to explore the dynamism and enterprise of modern China and to provide students and scholars with a chance to share insights of world-leading experts in various fields and reinforce the partnership and cooperation between Cambridge and China.
