Cambridge uses Moodle, a Virtual Learning Environment, as well as Panopto, a lecture capture and streaming system. Both can be accessed online, using your CRSid and Raven password. Your Faculty or Department is likely to use Moodle to help set work and assessment, but also share lectures, teaching material and other information. Your Faculty or Department is likely to use Panopto to record live lectures or pre-recorded lectures and you will be able to access these via Moodle.
If you need help and support using Moodle or Panopto, you can use the drop-down list of Help topics on the top right of all Moodle pages. For further help contact the Moodle help desk or use the lecture capture help form found in the support material. The helpdesk is open 9am-5pm (UK time), Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holiday and University closures.
The University plans to deliver as much in-person teaching as possible during the 2021-22 academic year. However, there may be occasions where this in-person teaching is blended with online activities, either to improve your educational experience or where we assess it as safer in line with public health advice. Guidance videos are available online to help you make the most of blended learning, covering the following areas:
- What to Expect - available now
- Approaching Blended Content - coming soon
- Structure and Routine - coming soon
- Wellbeing - coming soon
