Dr Diarmuid O’Brien is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Innovation. He is also a Bye-Fellow at Emmanuel College.
Diarmuid is also acting as the Chief Executive of Cambridge Enterprise. This company exists to support the University's innovators, experts and entrepreneurs. It helps them to make their ideas more commercially successful.
Before this he was the Chief Innovation & Enterprise Officer at Trinity College Dublin. During this time, he was responsible for all innovation and enterprise activities. This included leading the development of the Trinity East campus.
