The scene is now set for the 153rd Cambridge and Oxford Boat Race, sponsored by Xchanging.

The Crews will race over the four and a half mile course between Putney and Mortlake starting at 4.30pm on Easter Saturday.

Cambridge are the heavier crew by a wide margin and, with plenty of international experience in the boat, are odds-on favourites to win.

Oxford however are confident they can cause an upset and with the challenging conditions of the most famous rowing course in the world nothing can be presumed.

ITV will broadcast extensive live coverage of the build-up and the race itself in the UK and will distribute coverage worldwide. UK Broadband subscribers will be able to watch the race live over the Internet by visiting www.itv.com or clicking the link above right. The entire race will then be available to view again for three days afterwards.
