Fast Forward Mathematics
Fast Forward Mathematics is a free two-year programme for young mathematicians. It is aimed at those who are currently in Year 9 at non-selective state schools in the Greater London area. The first year consists of three residential courses in Cambridge, the second year consists of a number of mentoring activities. Applicants must be available to attend all three of the residential courses.
  • The cohort of students for the December and July Summer Schools has already been selected.
  • Further information about the August Summer School will be available in March 2010.

29 June-2 July 2010 FE Summer School
For students aged 16-19 taking A levels or IB at FE colleges. A residential course for FE college students offering a taste of university life through lectures, practical work and discussion sessions. Students can choose Arts or Sciences and will participate in a full range of subject-based and extra-curricular activities. Sutton Trust eligibility criteria apply. The Summer School is free and transport costs are reimbursed.

Sutton Trust Summer Schools
Subject-specific courses for Year 12 students are intended to provide participants with an insight into life as a first-year undergraduate studying at the University of Cambridge. Each summer school will include lectures, seminars, discussion groups, practical work and social activities, residing in a Cambridge College.

A weekend for adult learners to explore what the University of Cambridge and higher education in general can offer. Suitable for those on pre-Access courses or considering returning to education. Business Challenge Summer School
The Business Challenge Summer School is a 5-day residential course that offers an opportunity for students making the transition from Year 11 to Year 12 to find out how academic skills are put to use in a business environment and discover how and why top businesses recruit graduates from a range of subject backgrounds. Participants will work in teams on a 'business challenge' as well as attending sessions with speakers from top City firms and the University of Cambridge.
