The best thing about Homerton is everyone is so friendly it feels more like an extended family than a College. Being slightly out of the centre has the benefit of lots more space and Homerton has tennis courts, a full size football pitch on site and lets you walk on the grass! Ian

Homerton is an established College and has been part of the University for more than thirty years. It now accepts students onto a wide range of courses offered by the University as well as Education for which it is justly famous.

We are offering prospective students a chance to mould our future, to be involved in enhancing one of the liveliest and most vibrant places for living and learning in the University.

We are on the south side of the city, near the railway station, in spacious grounds. The College is a mixture of old and new – an elegant Victorian building at its heart, accompanied by new accommodation blocks, designed to modern specifications, containing individual study bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and links to the internet.

We have the usual facilities, such as sports grounds and equipment, a theatre and dance studio, art and music rooms, and some more unusual, such as a film library and video facilities.

Homerton has always been an open, friendly place. Our students are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the College, either taking part in decision-making through the Union of Students or enhancing the community by their multitude of interests, skills and enthusiasms. As Homerton develops we intend it to be a place whose doors are open, where nobody is too grand to talk to you, and where each student can develop their full potential in supportive surroundings.
