The University of Cambridge is proud to have been awarded University of Sanctuary accreditation. The move enshrines a commitment from the University to support people from displaced communities who come to the UK with the hope of continuing their studies or academic careers and to providing a safe space for them. Those fleeing war or conflict in their home countries often have their education or research disrupted and can endure years of trauma.
