Professor Tim Whitmarsh wins a Charles Goodwin Order of Merit for Beyond the Second Sophistic: Adventures in Greek Postclassicism.
The Charles Goodwin Order of Merit is the highest award for research issued by the Society for Classical Studies, the subject association for Classics in the USA. This year, one of the three awards went to Prof Tim Whitmarsh, for Beyond the Second Sophistic: Adventures in Greek Postclassicism.
