University trademarked coat of arms and name.

CAMBRIDGE - our global brand name

The CAMBRIDGE wordmark - the standalone word CAMBRIDGE, without “University of” - is our global brand name. It is a registered trade mark of the University of Cambridge (UK TM No. 3523931).

This protection exists because CAMBRIDGE is how global audiences refer to the University. When someone says, “I’m a graduate of Cambridge” they mean the University of Cambridge, not another organisation based in the city.
