Cambridge's 2017 admissions statistics published

Figures released by the University of Cambridge show another rise in the number of state-educated Home students being accepted on to a course of study. The number, for the 2017 admissions cycle, has increased to 64.1% (up from 62.5% in the 2016 cycle). This is the highest level since comparable records began more than 30 years ago.

Final Report of the Oxbridge Ambassador for Wales welcomed by University of Cambridge

“There are many outstanding students in Wales and this report has shown that, if they are to reach Cambridge and Oxford in greater number, we must collectively ensure that they are appropriately encouraged, supported and most of all stretched in the sixth form,” said Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University, welcoming the Final Report of the Oxbridge Ambassador for Wales.
