About this site

The University of Cambridge web site

This (http://www.cam.ac.uk/) is the central University of Cambridge web server, run by the University Computing Service. This server provides information about the University as a whole and about the Computing Service. There are many other servers run by Colleges, Departments and research groups, and the University Administration Service. Servers tend to concentrate on information about the host institution or group and information relevant to its staff and students. To search all webservers in the University or individual servers in it, use the site-wide search facility.

This server uses Apache web server software. Usage summaries (created using Analog) are available. The server and the content is maintained by webmaster@ucs.cam.ac.uk, to whom comments may be sent.
