Cambridge Science Festival

Schools Masterclasses

Schools attend the Festival Masterclasses
7 - 9 March The Schools Masterclasses invite students, aged 14-16, to come to Cambridge for a day of talks, hands on activities and tours designed to enrich the science curriculum. This experience gives the students the opportunity to experience life at a higher education institution and an insight into scientific study at university.

The schools and pupils are recruited by the Schools Liaison Officer for Pembroke and St. Catharine’s Colleges. The Festival team put together a programme of interactive lectures and hands on activities for the students, as well as a tour of the Colleges. Undergraduate students act as guides over the three days with the assistance of College Schools Liaison Officers and Science Festival staff.

We are also always looking for people from the University of Cambridge and partner organisations to give talks at the Schools Masterclasses and the Schools Roadshow. Please email the team if you would like to get involved.
