Welcome to the Cambridge Science Festival 2012! The Festival runs from the 12 - 25 March and this year we’re celebrating the Olympic and Paralympic Games landing in London with the theme ‘Breaking boundaries’. Join us at over 180 mostly free events to showcase the boundaries that are being broken in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Is research always fully aware of its consequences? Does science need to grow a conscience? Or are we in danger of being too distrustful of science? Of demonising it even? These themes will be discussed at the launch of Bio-Punk (Comma), a new collection of short stories exploring the human issues surrounding bio-med research.
