What is inside our cells? What is DNA and how does it make us different from one another? How are computers and new technologies helping us to understand genomes?
There will be a number of hands-on activities for all ages where you can make your own DNA sequence bracelet and fold your own paper DNA helix. Get ready to sort data like a computer against the clock and see if you can sequence DNA as fast as a machine. You can also compare yourself to other visitors at the science festival with our trait wheel. Scientists from the EMBL-European Bioinformatics Institute and Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute will be on hand to help you with the activities and answer your questions.
