n01se, a major set of related exhibitions, is now open at Cambridge.

n01se focuses on digital technology and its implications for human communication. Digital technology promises escape from the incoherence and decay of the contemporary world. These exhibitions examine and question this claim in both the arts and sciences. n01se consists of several inter-linked exhibitions:

n01se has been devised by artist Adam Lowe and historian of science Simon Schaffer. It will run until 26 March in Cambridge (16 April at the Fitzwilliam Museum) and 19 May in London.

The Wilson Cloud Chamber is one of the antecedents of digital technology which will be on display.
