Visiting the University's Museums and Collections
The University's Museums and Collections are all within short walking distances of the City Centre. Leaflets about the University Museums and Botanic Garden are available to download as pdfs.
Opening hours vary from museum to museum, especially at Christmas and bank holidays: please check.
Parking for disabled visitors is available at or near all museums. Other parking is not available at the museums, and city centre car parks can be very expensive. We encourage our visitors to make use of Cambridge's Park and Ride facilities. More detailed access information is available on individual museum websites.
We welcome visits from groups; please book in advance by contacting the museums and collections directly. Further information about group visits and teaching resources can be found here.
Staff in the museums are often able to identify your finds. Please contact the museum in advance to be sure someone is available.
