Before electricity, television and cinema, people often entertained themselves by telling stories while casting shadows on a wall or screen. For Twilight at the Museums, the Folk Museum will be recreating the Victorian tradition of Shadow Puppetry or 'Galantry Theatre' with 2 special shadow puppet workshops led by local artist Jonny Boatfield. Explore different ways of making your puppet move and the effects created by unusual shapes and textures of paper.
