A Museum visit can inspire and enrich learning for children and students of all ages. All the University Museums and the Botanic Garden welcome pre-booked visits from schools and groups, and have a wide range of resources and activities to help you make the most of your visit. Most of the museums have education staff to help teachers and group leaders with planning visits. They can work with you to develop activities to suit your particular needs and give suggestions for combining visits to two or more museums with complementary themed activities in each.

Many of our museums also have objects available for you to borrow to use in school. For more information about the resources and objects available please download our Classroom Resources leaflet.
