Dr Siddharth Saxena has been recognised for his role in the preservation of ethnic and cultural traditions of the people of Central Asia and assistance in establishing international cultural cooperation.
The award was issued in memory of the 110th anniversary of the birth of Musa Jalil, a poet and resistance fighter, and was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Russian Federation.
