Volunteer stewards

The Festival relies on the kind support of around 600 volunteers, without which we wouldn’t be able to run such a large and varied programme of events. Volunteering opportunities for the Festival can be just for a few hours or for a few months. If you are interested in helping out please email the Festival of Ideas team.

The Festival team also work on a range of other educational outreach projects throughout the year, if you would like to help out at other events and would like more information please contact the team.
