The Festival of Ideas is funded through core University funding, corporate sponsorship, charitable trusts and in-kind support. Hundreds of departments provide rooms, staff time and equipment for free, however it is still necessary to fundraise extensively to keep as many events free-of-charge to the general public as possible.
