What’s on in Cambridge? The Festival of Ideas!
Whether your children are budding boffins or just, well, bored, there’s plenty to pique their interest at the Festival of Ideas, Cambridge University’s annual celebration of the arts, humanities and social sciences.
The 12-day Festival is packed with hundreds of sessions, from talks and hands-on activities to film screenings and workshops, all held in a variety of university buildings which aren’t normally open to the public.
And, now in its fourth year, Festival co-ordinator Sophie Smith reckons it’s bigger and better than ever: “By a mile!” she laughs.
