Visiting students
The following Colleges are prepared to consider applications from overseas students wishing to undertake a short course of undergraduate study in Cambridge. These courses commence in October, last for one year, and are normally the first or second year of the appropriate Cambridge course. Visiting students will be expected to take an examination at the end of the year. More information about the courses available can be found in our courses.
For further information please contact the appropriate College using the contact details given. Enquiries should be addressed to the Admissions Tutor of the College concerned unless otherwise stated. Those Colleges not on this list do not take students for less than a full degree course.
Potential graduate students should contact the Board of Graduate Studies or consult the University website (www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/gradstud/admissions/) for further information about the courses available at Cambridge and the application process.

| Homerton | Homerton admits around 10 Junior Year Abroad students each year. Applications are made to Homerton from the home institution. Application forms are available from Homerton College. | Lucy Cavendish | Lucy Cavendish welcomes applications from women students wishing to come to Cambridge as one-year visiting students and who will be over 21 when they arrive here. We admit up to 6 visiting students per year, but do not consider applicants in Architecture, Medicine or Veterinary Medicine. We are happy to consider EU ERASMUS students and Studienstifung and DAAD students from Germany, who should apply through their home institution. Junior Year Abroad students from other countries should contact the College for an application form. | Magdalene | We offer no more than two visiting students (typically DAAD, ERASMUS or Junior Year Abroad) per year but cannot consider them for Architecture, Law, Medicine or Veterinary Medicine. Applicants should submit a CV, academic transcript, references, details of financial support and statement from their home university approving the application by the deadline of 15 November. | Peterhouse | Up to 3 a year maximum. May study Archaeology and Anthropology, Economics, History, History of Art, and Philosophy. Students from German universities may take Mathematics & Natural Sciences. Very high school-leaving and university grades required.
