Undergraduate Admissions

Politics, Psychology & Sociology course requirements

No particular subjects at A Level (or equivalent) are required for Politics, Psychology & Sociology (PPS). PPS is a broad course, therefore a range of subjects provide a good background: from Mathematics to social sciences (eg Psychology, Politics and Geography) to arts (eg English, History and modern languages).

For students who wish to take Psychology in Part II, it is useful to have Maths and Biology

Murray Edwards prefers at least one essay-based subject.
