Notes for Guidance on the Formation and Running of University Clubs and Societies

Note: changes to the 'Notes for Guidance' issued October 2011 - major update to 'Section 3: Continuing Requirement's, and addition of 'Section 6: Charitable Status'. All changes have been highlighted in the document.

The following guidance is based on the experience of established University clubs and societies. It provides guidance in founding and running a club or society, and in revising the constitution or accounting system of an existing club or society.
